How Scoring and Pricing Work
The score function determines the gross payout. The live gross bank quote is calculated as:
- 0.96 × captured whole stake × conditional expected terminal raw score (raised to selected power) / unconditional mean for that power.
Exact unconditional means for the three powers are:
- Mode 0 (Power 1): 0.12744140625
- Mode 1 (Power 2): 0.26806640625
- Mode 2 (Power 3): 0.64306640625
Twelve independent fair bits are revealed in order. At each prefix, the quote averages all remaining possible words, so it can rise or fall. If the conditional potential becomes zero, the round settles at zero gross. The expected gross under supported stopping policies is exactly 96% before integer rounding.
Controls, Modes, and Stopping Rules
You preselect a raw-score power (one, two, or three) and an automatic reveal cap (4, 8, or 12). These selections, along with the captured stake, are locked until settlement. Sound remains available during the round.
- Manual Bank: Available immediately while live. It settles the current conditional quote.
- Auto-Bank: The selected cap (4, 8, or 12) automatically banks the current quote. If the conditional value drops to zero before the cap, it settles at zero earlier.
- Timing: Each semantic reveal follows a 650ms interval. No hidden future bit is exposed before its reveal.
Wallet, Balance, and Persistence
The demo wallet starts with an initial balance of 1000 virtual coins.
- Idle Refill: If the balance is below 10 while idle, a manual refill sets the balance to exactly 1000. This is a manual set, not automatic replenishment.
- Fractional Carry: Fractional carry persists across settlement, refill, and reload.
- Settled Balance: Persists locally, including zero balances.
- Unfinished Reload: Reloading an unfinished trace ends the round without refund or resume. The captured debit is lost.
Stake, mode, cap and refill controls are locked during the active round. There is no automatic round queue.
